 Né à Wassy, le 17 Août 1942,           Michel Creton fréquente les écoles primaires de la ville jusqu'à l'obtention de son certificat d'études avant de faire son apprentissage dans la photogravure.           C'est sa grand-mère Mme Pajarès qui lui fait découvrir le goût du théâtre et de l'écran en l'accompagnant dès sa prime jeunesse au cinéma des "Jeunes".          Michel CRETON inaugure très tôt une brillante carrière de comédien. Après avoir été l'élève de Robert MANUEL, il sort du conservatoire avec deux premiers prix. Il refuse d'entrer à la Comédie Française pour jouer sur le Boulevard ou passer au petit écran, notamment dans l'émission de Pierre Sabbagh " Au théâtre ce soir" ou encore tenir des rôles au cinéma.            Au théâtre de France, il joue aux côtés de J. L. Barrault "L'Amérique", avec Suzanne Flon "Hélène ou la joie de vivre", etc.       ...

 Pous How COPA MICHEL CRETON Tout d'abora eleve au GIRARD, Michel CRETON entre au Conserva- toire daps i classe de Georges CHAMARAT, puis de Robert MANUEL Il obtient un premier prix classique et un premier prix moderne. Trois ans passés au sein de la Compagnie RENAUD-BARRAULT lui permettront d'aborder un répertoire des plus éclectiques et de confirmer son jeune talent: il joue entre autres "Il faut pas- ser par les mages" de François BILLETDOUX, "Les paravents" de Jean GENET, "L'Amérique" de KAFKA. cours Raymond Viennent ensuite au T.N.P. "La Baye" de P. ADRIEN, "Xavier" de J. DEVAL, "La moitié du plaisir", "La sirène de l'Oncle Sam" de N. SIMONS, "Les fourberies de Scapin" ainsi que "Vol au dessus d'un nid de coucous" de D.
